
Ashley Calder was raised in Roy, Utah. During high school she was a co-president of Key Club, as well as a member of the National Honor Society. She also sang in and was an officer of the Roy High School Chamber Choir. As a junior, Ashley organized a well-attended leadership seminar for students and faculty. Throughout high school and her first year of college, she participated in the Hugh O'Brian Youth Leadership Seminar as an ambassador, junior counselor, staff member, and reunion chair. She graduated with highest honors from Roy High in 2007.
As a freshman at Utah State University, she was invited to participate in Aggie BLUE Fall Leadership. She has received many school and community scholarships, including the Distinguished Service Scholarship and The Pampered Chef Bright Futures Scholarship. Because she is very passionate about helping people, she is majoring in human resource management. Ashley is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM). She has assisted in planning many campus-wide activities and has been a chair for the Traditions Committee at USU. Outside of school, she has organized several activities for over 100 women. Additionally, she works as a volunteer with special needs students to help them learn. Ashley is currently a junior.
In her spare time, she enjoys singing, dancing, playing with her six siblings, speaking German, and smiling. Above all, she loves working with people, in any aspect of life.
Ashley is the coordinator for the Restructuring Your Business and Women in Business seminars.
