Innovation and Entrepreneurship: The Tools for Success

Each year, Utah represents a large number of the entrepreneurial ventures in the United States. Only a small percentage of those ventures, however, stay afloat after the first few years of business. What separates those who succeed from those who fail?

This year, Partners in Business of the Jon M. Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University invite all budding entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial organizations looking to create new ventures within the company to come participate in our 1st Annual Innovation and Entrepreneurship: Tools for Success. Through this intensive week-long program, you will have the opportunity to join in classroom learning and discussion and to analyze case studies, assess the strength of business plans, present entrepreneurial pitches, and network with other entrepreneurs and professionals.

Topics for the week include identifying and evaluating business opportunities, building a strong business plan, launching the venture, and planning for the future. Innovation and Entrepreneurship will sharpen your skills and provide you with the experiences, practical tools and techniques, resources and networking opportunities to help you become a confident and successful entrepreneur.
