Alexis Cairo was appointed Vice President Rio Tinto Communications and External Relations - Kennecott Utah Companies in January 2007. In her role, Alexis manages government and corporate relations, media relations, communications, community outreach and community relations for Kennecott Utah Copper and Kennecott Land. This merger of the Communications and External Relations presents a unified Kennecott and Rio Tinto voice with the community and policy makers, while protecting and enhancing both companies' business interests.
Deborah Eppstein has 30 years experience in pharmaceutical/biotech industry, encompassing research (16 patents) and entrepreneurial management. She received her PhD in Biochemistry, followed by an NIH postdoctoral fellowship at the University of California, Santa Barbara studying mechanism of interferon action. Dr. Eppstein received the Business Woman of the Year and Technology Leadership awards as well as the Fittest Female Exec Award in Salt Lake City in 2009.

As the Senior Advisor in the National Science Foundation's Office of Information and Resource Management, Dr. Olsen advises the Foundation's Chief Human Capital Officer as well as NSF senior management on opportunities for NSF - wide management improvement in areas such as strengthening merit review and interdisciplinary research processes, workforce planning, Program Officer training and development, and succession planning.
Dr. Alison Cook is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Management at Utah State University. She earned her Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from Purdue University. Alison's research interests focus on work-family policies and gender and diversity within the workforce. This presentation will discuss factors that hinder and facilitate women's mobility within work organizations.

Ms. Taylor is a Shareholder of Richards, Brandt, Miller & Nelson, whose practice focuses on defending workers' compensation claims. She has presented at numerous workers' compensation seminars and workshops. Ms. Taylor's practice is primarily focused on counseling and representation of employers and workers' compensation insurance carriers before the Labor Commission of Utah and Utah appellate courts. She has served on the Legal/Health Care Committee of the Utah State Bar and presently serves on its Bar Examiners Committee.
